Made from the finest perfectly matched solid American cherry with a silken finish, the chairs are absolutely gorgeous, strong and comfortable. Both strong and comfortable. A quote from Mr. Laberge: "My furniture is made in the spirit of the Arts-and-Crafts movement. I take my inspiration from the Craftsman philosophy of high quality materials and workmanship and from the same timeless Asian designs that inspired Greene and Greene in their Pasadena Bungalows....each piece is custom made.... embellishments include a variety of inlays including ebony and silver, hand carved components and a meticulous hand rubbed finish."
