Vintage Irwin Federal style bow front gentleman's chest circa 1950. French feet, book-matched flame mahogany veneered drawer fronts, solid brass drawer pulls, and pull-out slide. The Irwin Furniture Company was founded in Michigan in 1919 by Robert W. Irwin. It sold fine reproduction furnishings until it closed in 1953. The chest measures 34.25 inches high, 38 inches wide, 20.5 deep at the center and 18 inches deep at the sides. The drawers measure 7,6,5, and 4.5 inches deep and have oak sides and bottoms for extra strength. Pristine condition.
