RARE! Antique Roullet and Decamps automaton drumming bear toy circa 1900 in excellent original working condition. This utterly charming toy has remained in the same family since it was purchased new. When the lever is turned, the bear beats his drum and moves his arms and head. He has carved wooden paws and teeth and stands 27 inches tall. Roullet Decamps Automates designed and manufactured very fine mechanical toys, aka automatons, or automates in French. The company was located at 10 Rue du Parc Royal in Paris.
