A fine quality pair of mahogany freestanding pedestals dating to circa 1880. This rare pair of antique pedestals are made from fine first quality mahogany having shaped pagoda tops with paneled and fluted edge doors standing on a carved plinth which runs the whole way round. With solid mahogany backs making these pedestals freestanding they are not the ends of a sideboard. The doors open to reveal storage with one pedestal having added drawers / slides. In excellent condition these pedestals have a lovely color and have been restored using traditional waxed methods.Dimensions: Width: 19 inches - 49cm Height: 38 inches - 97cm Depth: 19 inches - 49cm
