American Aesthetic Movement kerosene lamp,Pat April 19, 1875, March 2 1876. It has been electrified for modern use. This is the most beautiful lamp of its period we have come across. The birds, leaves and flowers are all hand painted fired enamel over glass. The fittings are brass and the base is bronze. Excellent condition. Measures 23 inches to the top of the shade and 12 inches to the top of the lamp. The base is 8 inches across.
