Restruck by the Museum from the original plate by Francois Chauveau (1613-1676) depicting Louis XIV as a Roman emperor. The frame measures 34.25 by 21.75 inches, image measures 25.25 x 12.25 inches. Excellent condition with strong and vibrant colors. Silk matted in gold leaf frame with gold leaf insert.
