Biggs Furniture Co Richmond VA mahogany butlers tray top tea cart c1950 with solid brass casters. Biggs Furniture Co was once a leading U.S. manufacturer of fine colonial reproduction furniture. The Biggs company (1880-1990) flourished in the 20th century, alongside reproductions by Colonial Williamsburg, and other mass market reproduction brands like Ethan Allen and Pennsylvania House. The company was purchased by Kittinger. The cart measures 29.5 inches high, 19 x 29 inches at its top with the wings up and 28.75 x 36.75 inches when they are down. The distance to the bottom shelf is 10 inches. The wings measure 3.5 inches at the sides and 4.5 inches at the front and back.
