18th Century embroidery landscape scene. This scene depicts a farmer and his wife with their sheep next to a garden,down the hill from their home. There is a windmill in the back ground with birds flying over head. The background is silk which has some minor tears just above the roof of the house. This is normal for 18th century embroidery. The original frame measures 10 and one half inches by 12 inches and he embroidery measures 8 by 9 and three quarters inches.
