American federal mahogany flip top card table circa 1800 attributed to Samuel Field Mcintire. Shaped top with molded edge, flame veneer skirt, cookie corners with acanthus leaf carvings over ring turnings to tapered reeded legs and arrow feet. Descent through family of original owner Colonel John Edwards (1760 to 1803) recorded on old label affixed to underside. Measures 37 inches wide by 17 and three quarters deep by 29 and one half inches high. Excellent original condition.
