See William Spratling and the Mexican Silver Renaissance Page 255 to see this early mark and read more about this period of Spratling silver. Measures 6 and three quarter inches long. The rosewood handle has silver banding all around in two places. The William Spratling mark has Taxco next to it and the other side is stamped 920. This came to us from an Old Lyme Connecticut estate. Very good condition with some minor use wear and slight scratches which is to be expected from a early piece.
