Admiral Horatio Nelson English Naval Hero of the Battle of Trafalgar. This early 19th century antique cased figure of "Admiral Nelson" measures 20 inches high by 10 inches wide overall. The beautifully detailed and preserved figure is made from wood, papier mache, fabric, leather and metal. Admiral Nelson was born in 1758 and died in 1805. He defeated Napoleon but was killed in battle by a French sniper. He is among the most famous and revered of British military heroes.
