An exceptional heirloom wedding engagement ring. Old European cut 2.42 carats diamond, set in a hand made octagonal open work platinum filigree setting. SI-1 clarity and K color with very good cut. The ring and stone are both in fine condition. The craftsmanship of the setting is superb. Weight 5.9 grams. The retailer was E (Eugene) Jaccard Jewelry Company in St Louis, Missouri. We have only had a few stones of this size and quality, still in their orignal hand made settings, in pristine original condition, in the many years we have been selling fine antique estate jewelry.
