These Eygptian bronze plated bookends were made around 1900 to 1920. They were manufactured from a mold, not individually sculpted. That is why the facial features, hands and feet appear crudely formed. The wear marks (light spots) were artificially applied. You can see that they appear in exactly the same places on both figures. The label identifies the king depicted. They each measure 8 inches high.
