Antique John Boydell engraving, William Penns Treaty with Indians when he founded the Provence of Pennsylvania in North America in 1681. This "John Boydell" was engraved from the original painting belonging to the late William Penn. John Boydell was an engraver in Cheaptide London c1775 which is the date of this engraving. The beautiful period mahogany frame measures 36 and one half inches by 30 and one quarter inches and the image itself measures 19 inches by 25 inches. Excellent original condition.
