Danish porcelian,Antique Royal Copenhagen,"Royal Copenhagen" This Royal Copenhagen decorative plaque is signed Royal Copenhagen 1880 OP 33. This antique plaque or plate looks like a spoon or teabag holder. Measures 4 and three eighths inches and five and three quarters inches. Excellent original condition. This plate has crown on the top with a monogramed designed inside with the letters MCMXll inside. This plaque is from 1912 (MCMXII) and marks the death of Danish King Frederik VIII (8) (b. 1843) in 1912. It is not c. 1880. Corrobarated by mark at back indicating the period 1898-1923.
