There are 4 images of this item.
Vintage Osborne Ivorex wall plaque. It is titled Mr Pickwick Addressing the Members of the Pickwick Club "The proudest moment of his existence". This and many other charmingly detailed, painted plaster plaques were first produced in Kent, England, by the Osborne Company, founded by Arthur Osborne in 1899. Entrepreneur Ray Bossons bought the assets and rights to the company in 1965, and began producing the plaques, from the original molds, in South Cheshire. The business closed in 1996. This plaque, a scene from The Pickwick Papers by Charles Dickens is identified as an Osborne original by the tiny AO mark at the bottom left corner. Frame measures 24 inches by 17 and one half inches.
