"Elizabeth ONeill Verner" etchings,Elizabeth ONeill Verner was famous for her very high quality etchings which depict different scenes in Charleston South Carolina. She was born in 1883 and died in 1979. This etching is in its original frame and is signed "Bit of Legare Street" Charleston,Elizabeth ONeill Verner. This etching image measures 5 and inches by 3 and 3/8 inches.The original wood frame measures 10 and 3/8 inches by 14 and and one half inches. Rematting is recommended. This image depicts a Black woman with a basket on her head. This etching just came in from a local Connecticut River Valley Estate.
