This ceremonial mask has many features to its design, water buffalo horns, a bird, a native face and fearsome teeth. This mask is in wonderful condition with a small repair to the top back. PROVENANCE,This tribal mask was consigned to us by a professor of political science at an eastern ivy league university. He acquired this piece while on assignment in Africa during the late 1940s to early 1950.
