Vintage 6 arm ship's cabin colonial chandelier, hand made by Richard D. Scofield of Period Lighting Fixtures, Chester, CT, circa 1988. Aged tin arms and center, hand dipped candle covers. Measures 7.5 inches high x 11 inches wide. Excellent working condition. Richard Scofield made the finest exact copies of period American lighting in the country and was allowed by Historic Deerfield to make copies of its collection. The candles are made from real bees' wax. After he died at an early age, the company continued under different ownership but finally closed.
