Vintage pair of Windsor comb back armchairs circa 1920-30, de-accessioned from Yale University. The seat bottom is stamped Yale University in block letters. The pair is from the estate of a Yale University professor. Very good condition, extremely strong and comfortable. All hand crafted, probably made by Virginia Craftsman. Later black paint over original black. Each measures 41" high at back, 28.5" high at arms, 18" high at seat, 24.5" wide at arms, and 18.5" deep.
