Early Eldred Wheeler oval tea table. Black surface with hand block-planed top and sides, handmade wooden pinned joinery, and wonderful old worn patina. This is one of the earliest works from Eldred Wheeler when the workshop was located on Main Street at the corner of Phillips Street in Hanson, Massachusetts. It is hard to tell this table from its original counterpart (circa 1750-1770). Measures 32 inches wide, 26 inches deep and 27 inches high. Excellent condition.
