Vintage tiger maple rocker in the Shaker number 7 style by Ian Ingersoll circa 1990. Excellent original condition, very strong and truly comfortable. The rocker was hand made from solid, highly figured tiger maple boards. It is an exact copy of the most revered period Shaker rocker, the number 7. It measures 41” H x 25” W x 31” D. Ian Ingersoll, established in 1975, has evolved from a one-room workshop to a contemporary guild of craftsmen. Every piece of furniture is still made by hand of a single person. This rocker was purchased in 1990.
