18th century Pennsylvania walnut tall chest of drawers. Country Chippendale, circa 1780. Original brasses, secret compartment, and ogee bracket base. Note the burl drawer over two book-matched drawers (2nd down from the top). Such a wonderful artistic detail. Some old restoration, such as to be expected from a piece of this period. Measures 68 inches tall, 21.5 inches deep at the case, 23.5 inches deep at the cornice, 42 inches wide at the case, and 46.5 wide at the cornice.
