Early American Federal period chest of 4 drawers, circa 1790-1815. Sheraton style, made from flame birch. Wonderful hand cut lower shirt and sides, beaded drawer fronts, hand cut dovetails and fluted column sides that continue up the back splash. Measures 40" wide at case; 42.25" wide at cookie-cut corners; 19" deep at case; 20.75" deep at corners, 40.5" high to the surface; and 47" high to the back splash. Pristine condition, with easily gliding drawers.
